A Weekend Fashion Extravaganza

DC Fashion Week hosted Washington’s most significant fashion industry networking party on Friday, February 23 at Saint Yves. Partygoers dressed to impress their fellow fashionistas. Doors opened at 6:00pm and attendees got the opportunity to meet bloggers, models, designers, photographers, journalists, makeup artists, hair stylists, clothing stylists, modeling agents, buyers, retailers and fashionistas. Special guest DJ Ease provided music throughout the evening.

Emerging fashion designers from the United States showcased together during DC Fashion Week on Saturday, February 24 at The National Housing Center in Washington DC. The Washington emerging and ready-to-wear collections were highlighted.


DC Fashion Week 2024 showcased an impressive array of talent and creativity, marking its place as a significant event in the fashion calendar. DC Fashion Week culminated with The 40th International Couture Collections Showcase (20 Year Anniversary) held Sunday, February 25 at The National Housing Center in Washington, DC. International Couture designers presented their latest collections at this DC Fashion Week grand finale event.

Ean Williams, the director and founder of DC Fashion Week, emphasized the show's dedication to representing a variety of body types and ethnicities, reflecting the diversity of the District. This commitment to inclusivity was evident in the selection of new designers and models, showcasing fresh faces and voices in the fashion industry.

Washington, DC may be synonymous with politics and power suits, but for three exhilarating days in February 2024, it transformed into a vibrant runway of creativity and couture.
